Services Provided:

Protective Relay Engineering is the firm that I (John Horak) created in 2005 to perform consultant/contract engineering services in the core fields as described on the  P.R.E home page, marketing these services to Utilities, generation developers, industrial companies, engineering firms, and other end customers. P.R.E. works solely in its specialized core field seen on the PRE home page.. 

At present, John Horak is the only regular and full time employee of P.R.E, and projects have tended to be dedicated to tasks that I performs, without assistance of other employees or subcontractors. P.R.E would be interested in expanding its work, as described below.

P.R.E. is interested in:

1) Additional work in P.R.E.'s Core Work, seen on Home Page

2) Cooperative Relationship with other Consultant Engineers and their Clients.
Cases where P.R.E may assist other consultant engineers include: 
    a) An Engineer has work in a field associated with protective relaying, but does not have in-house expertise or manpower to do the work.
    b) An Engineer needs appropriate insurances, and working under P.R.E. gives the required insurance.
    c) An Engineer needs work reviewed by an independent P.E., such as P.R.E.
    d) An Engineer or the Engineer's client requires an intermediate corporation between the engineer and the client in order to give the client assurance that tax and statuatory employee issues do not arise.
